Long-range laser rangefinder

A long-range laser rangefinder is an instrument capable of measuring distant targets and is often used for real-time applications that measure distance and length. It uses the flight time of the laser pulse to measure the distance, by firing the laser beam at the target and receiving the laser beam reflected back from the target, calculating the time of the laser beam from transmission to reception, so as to calculate the target distance.

The long range laser rangefinder has the advantages of distance measurement and fast measurement, so it has been widely used in many fields. For example, in the field of military applications, it can be used to quickly acquire target distance;

Remote laser rangefinder usually uses pulsed laser ranging technology, its working principle is to send a laser beam to the target, and then by receiving the laser beam reflected back from the target, calculate the time of the laser beam from transmission to reception, so as to calculate the target distance. The measurement accuracy of this technology is very high, which can reach the meter level.

It should be noted that the common band of remote laser rangefinder is 905nm, 1064nm, 1535nm, 1550nm, 1570nm, and its 1064nm laser rangefinder needs to pay attention to safety issues during use, because the laser beam may cause damage to the human eye. Therefore, when using a 1064nm long-range laser rangefinder, special attention needs to be paid to protecting the human eye and avoiding direct exposure of the laser beam to the human eye.
